Adam Dunlavy

Adam Dunlavy is a curator and art historian specializing in twentieth century American art with a focus on the art of the 1970s and ‘80s. After receiving his BA in art history from the University of Chicago, Adam was the Lisa and Jerry O’Brien Curatorial Fellow at the Weisman Art Museum, where he curated two permanent collection exhibitions. He is currently a PhD student at the Institute of Fine Arts.

In the 2015 – 2016 season of the NYU Curatorial Collaborative, Dunlavy organized the exhibition Close to the Chest, featuring the work of artists Paula Rondon and Natalie Tung.
