Angel Jiang

Angel Jiang is a master’s candidate currently focusing on gothic architectural practice and problems of interpretation and style. Prior to studying at the Institute of Fine Arts, she majored in History and Theory of Architecture at Columbia University, where she contributed as a photographer, writer, and illustrator to several publications. While in New York, she has interned for Elastic City and volunteered at the Storefront for Art and Architecture, and continues to be interested in the city’s laboratory of urbanism and design.

In the 2015-2016 season of the NYU Curatorial Collaborative, Jiang co-curated the nine artist group exhibition, Intimate Matters with fellow curators, Brian Bentley and Sarah B. Vogelman.
