Haley S. Pierce

Haley S. Pierce is a Master’s candidate at the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, focusing on mid-19th to early 20th century European Modernism. Originally from Kentucky, she received her B.A. in Art History with minors in Studio Art and French from the College of Charleston. As an undergraduate, Haley completed several internships in commercial and non-profit galleries and conservation studios. She worked as Collections Manager upon graduation at Rebekah Jacob Gallery in Charleston, SC, where she contributed to the appraisal of The Eudora Welty Collection based out of Jackson, Mississippi. Haley is currently a curatorial intern at the Whitney Museum of American Art, and is looking forward to applying the professional experience gained through the NYU Curatorial Collaborative to her graduate studies and beyond.

In the 2016 -2017 season of the NYU Curatorial Collaborative, Pierce organized the exhibition Way Out / Away Out featuring the work of artists Anna Marchisello and Phoebe Louise Randall.
