Lauren M. Vaccaro is currently an M.A. candidate at the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, focusing on modern and contemporary art. She is particularly interested in feminist theory and its application to the canon of art history. During her undergraduate study, she double majored in Art History and Communication Studies and received her B.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in the fall of 2016. In addition, she also gained experience in studio and curatorial practice in her undergraduate course work. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, she has held positions at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art and the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art.
