Mengyao Wang is an art critic, curator and poet now pursuing her master degree in art history at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. She is also now working as an archive and research assistant at Fou Gallery, New York. Her current focus is the history of photography in relation to psychoanalytical theories and 20th century French philosophy. Mengyao holds a Bachelor’s degree in art history and politics from the University of Hong Kong. She has been working in art fairs, galleries, and artist-run spaces in New York, Shanghai, Taiwan.
