Yinxue Wu is an M.A. candidate at the Institute of Fine Arts. She focuses on modern and contemporary art with specific interests in gender theories, body—space relations, and urbanization. Meanwhile, she has a parallel interest in performance studies due to the 6-year-long training in theatrical acting she had received during her adolescence. Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Yinxue graduated from Fudan University with a Bachelor degree in Communication in 2018. She has held internship positions at various art institutions in both Shanghai and New York, including LEO XU PROJECTS, Rockbund Art Museum, Judd Foundation and, most recently, the Independent Art Fair.
