Hannah Murphy was born in Paris and raised in New York where she continues to live and work. Her recent work explores the threads between humans and the ecological systems they both inhabit and are part of, in turn, highlighting the precarity inherent in this relationships. In May 2019 she will receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University with concentration in sculpture.
